What we call "dead profiles" websites are online services that attract people like you by telling them they will "meet" other people living in their area sharing the same interests, and supposedly offer endless opportunities to "connect" with other individuals. These websites might be appealing at first because a lot of one-time visitors saved their profiles in hope to connect with individuals sharing their interests or activities.
